...Or something equally as chaotic. I will spare you the excuses and the "life got in the way of blogging about our life" speech. hehe. I will just say sorry and post a bagillion pictures from the last 2 months to get you caught up. =0)
Back in early April we went on vacation to the beautiful Colorado River with Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins. Jace had a great time playing in the river, swimming in the swimming pool, and even got to sing London Bridge is Falling Down while on the actual London Bridge!
I graduated!!! Finally!!! WOOHOO!!
Jace FINALLY graduated too!! To his big boy bed! I will admit that this probably should have happened a LONG time ago, but I had visions of Jace getting up at 2am to fix himself a pannini or something crazy. He figured out that he could get out of the crib anyway though, and so....he has been freed. So far we have only woken up on 2 mornings wondering when the heck Jace crawled into bed with us. lol.
We did LOTS of swinging.....
..because Jace is OBSESSED with swinging these days!
We enjoyed a nice Mother's Day brunch with Nonna!
We had a considerable amount of "thinking time" because Jace is 2 and exercising his right to test every boundary he can possibly find.
We FINALLY got to take Daddy to the Zoo!
Jace wore his favorite FABULOUS Spiderman shoes.....ALOT....with outfits that in no way called for sandals, much less bright blue Spiderman sandals with socks. Ahh, 2 year old fashion statements!!
I have no pictures for my most exciting highlight. Well, we all know that I absolutely do, but I imagine posting them on the internet could potentially cost me thousands of dollars in therapy for my poor son one day. I digress, Jace is POTTY TRAINING!!!!!!!! He came up to me a few weeks ago and told me that he wanted to use his potty and he has been using it ever since!! We kissed diapers goodbye and haven't looked back!
