Just thought I would take a quick second to post a little video of Jace playing with Monica. His laugh absolutely cracks me up! He is such a happy baby!!!

Our Little Jumping Bean!

First off Jeremy arrived in Georgia safe and sound this afternoon! YEAH!!! He had lots of fun going cross country with his dad. Guy was amazed that Jeremy and I could chat and webcam while he rode shotgun down the freeway. God bless technology. Jeremy is already feeling homesick and we are missin him like crazy! Please pray that these next 3 months fly by for all of us.

Now, to our little jumping bean.... Jace has discovered that he is VERY good at jumping up and down. He pretty much jumps from the time his eyes open until about 5 minutes after they have shut at night. Yes, the child is jumping in his sleep!! He absolutely loves it! His Jumparoo is a lifesaver these days. At first I was thrilled he was jumping so much, after all his naps became a little more solid because he was poopin himself out. Then I began to realize how pooped I am from holding this little bouncy boy! He literally does not stop. He jumps when he is sitting, standing, and even lying on his belly. It's a crack up!

Miss You Daddy

Today has been a hard one. Jeremy left this morning on his way to Georgia, where he will be for the next 3 months. YUCK! He arrived in Tucson this evening after a very LONG drive. He will be staying the night with his parents and then his father will be joining him for the rest of the road trip to Atlanta. Thank goodness for his father who was willing to brave the trip with him! I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on his trip. In the mean time here are some pictures of Jace and daddy on their last day together for a while. WE MISS YOU DADDY!







OH YEAH! Fun fact~ Jeremy and I have been together for 5 years today!! LOVE YA BABE!!!

Vegas

Well, we are home from Las Vegas, and the trip was interesting to say the very least. Our trip there was plagued by fire, blowing a tire, and relentless winds that caused 18 wheelers to teeter violently in front of us the whole 8 hours. It was truly a white knuckle ride. Jace was about the only good thing about the drive over. He was AMAZINGLY well behaved. He slept a large part of the trip, but when he was awake he was pleased as punch to just giggle and play with his feet. I am in constant amazement of how great this little boy is! Due to very unfortunate circumstances, we did not get to see the wedding that we went for. We did, however, get to spend some time with Jeremy's family and our new sister-in-law's family as well.

We are VERY glad to be home. Now we are just relaxing and enjoying our last weekend with Jeremy home. He leaves Monday for 3 months in Georgia. BLEH! We will miss him tons, but are fortunate enough to have free long distance and webcams to help ease the seperation. In happier news, Jace cut his first tooth this morning!! It is teeny tiny, but definately out and SHARP!

It has been hotter than heck here lately! The days have been over 100 degrees, but the evenings have been beautiful! Jace loves being outside and observing all of the different sights and sounds. He's really getting so inquisitive! We have a big week ahead of us, getting ready for Jeremy to leave for Georgia and a big trip to Vegas for Jeremy's brother's wedding, so I will be sure to post pictures when we get back.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Amazing Mommies in our lives!!!

I am really enjoying my FIRST Mother's Day. I made a Champagne Brunch for my mommy and Christopher and Isaac joined us for the festivities. Now that everyone is gone and the baby is down for a nap, I think I may just kick my feet up and enjoy one myself! Hope all of my fellow mommies are enjoying their day!!!

Scoot Time!!

Jace has become quite the little scooter. We have been letting him play on his tummy time mat more and it seems to be paying off. He managed to scoot his way all the way across the bedroom floor yesterday! Last night Uncle Jeff and Auntie Jenn came by for a quick visit. Jace had a ton of fun scooting to Uncle Jeff and "walking" with Auntie Jenn.

Where did the week go?

Here is Jace with his Uncle Christopher. It's funny how little he looks when Christopher holds him. I can already tell that these two are going to be quite a pair when Jace gets older. I have a feeling I am in for it! ( Really, I can't wait to see them pal around and gang up on me. )

This is Jace playing with his girlfriend Madi. They crack me up! They really do get the biggest kick out of each other. It's fun for me and Madi's mommy to look at them together and plan what pictures we will show at their wedding. HaHa.
Oh yeah, they LOVE to hold hands too. This is not the first time these two have done it either. It's really cute. Jace actually gave Madi a little kiss right before this, but mommy was outside and missed it. =0(
