Daddy Has Created a Monster....

A Guitar Hero Monster....






Jace totally pretends he is playing while Daddy plays. It's actually super cute. As soon as he hears the game turned on he runs over to HIS guitar. He also LOVES to take the GH Microphone from Mommy and sing and dance. He's a musical one, I tell ya!

Yeah For Sinus Infections!!!!

No really! I went to the Dr. yesterday and found out my illness was only the world's worste sinus infection. Why is that such great news??? Because that means I'm not contagious and can go see my baby Leah!!!!!!! I literally went straight fromt he Dr. to the hospital (quick drive by the house so Jeremy could meet me outside with my camera..duh!) It's official..I'm in love!!!! Here are a few snapshots I took of my most fabulous niece. Not many because my battery died after only 150 frames...ugh!

My mom and I were absolutely in awe of her hands. She has the LONGEST fingers EVER, but the girliest little gestures. She is holding onto Daddy's finger here.

Oh Happy Day!

Welcome to the world Leah Marie Russell!!!!! I am officially an Auntie and Jace has his first baby cousin! We are sooo happy that she has finally arrived safe and sound. There were several bumps along the road, but tell me this sweet little chubby face isnt worth it! She weighed in at 8lbs. 5oz. and 20.5 inches long. She has very long legs and arms according to her Nonna.

Excuse the bad pictures. I am super sick and can't go to the hospital to see little Leah in person, so camera phone pictures are all I have. Still I must say I am already in love with my very precious niece!

What a LUCKY day!

I am actually going to blog!!! hahaha.

Things have been crazy around the Hawkins household. Jeremy is in Oklahoma this week doing MORE deployment junk. UGH! He will be leaving in less than a month now and I don't think it has fully hit us yet. We have been spending every precious moment we have available just enjoying him being home. Hence, the lack of blogging. So, to put a stop to the hiatus I am BACK and ready to blog. I will start with today and then as I have time, update on what we have been up to the last month. (Geez, didnt realize it had been that long!)

Jace got a Shamrock Sammie today for lunch. He was quite aware that it was green and kept saying "OOOOOH" and pointing to it.
