Love Is In The Air!!!

Jace and I have been celebrating Valentine's Day since Thursday and have had a blast decorating the house, making Valentine's, eating heart shaped EVERYthing, and rationing out the massive amounts of candy that have managed to find their way into our home. All that has been lots of fun, but my absolute FAVORITE part of this Valentine's Day has been Jace turning to me at random times throughout the day and saying "Love you momma! Happy Baleetines!" I melt!

Jace was SUPER excited that his pals at school brought him Valentine's . He has asked me to go through them at least 2 times a day to see who each one is from. Every time we bring them out he gets excited all over again.

Mommy and Daddy even got our own Valentine from our little guy. He made sure he told me that HE made it for us all by himself. He was so proud, which made this one of the most special things I have ever gotten. (I'm totally tearing up right now!)

We spent today enjoying the GORGEOUS weather and delivering Valentine's. Here's my little man all ready to go spread the Valentine's Day love...

Little Miss Leah was also looking especially cutie patootie today in her VDay clothes and pigtails.

After spending the afternoon with my brother and his family we went on a nice date with Nonna. Her hubby is out of town for work and we got to take advantage. She treated us to a new little place that has the ultimate in Valentine's Day dinners, Chicken Mole (which is chicken simmered in a sauce made with chilis and CHOCOLATE for those who aren't familiar.) Can you say YUMMY! Perfect end to a perfect Valentine's Day. (Ok, ALMOST perfect. The whole hubby deployed on the other side of the world puts a slight damper on things, but all in all a great day celebrating those that we love.)

We hope that you had a day filled with lots of love!!

Cousins

I have probably mentioned this a time or two before, but I really am so happy that Jace has cousins close to his age and that he loves so much. I grew up with quite a few cousins who were all pretty close in age to me and I have the greatest memories of spending time with them. I love knowing that Jace will have the same. These three are already so close and it makes my heart happy to know that they will only grow closer as they grow up together.

Family is such a blessing!

Logan is a SAINT in my book! He totally lets a 2 year old drag him around all over creation with never even a hint of annoyance.

Buds...

And seriously...how ridiculously cute is my little Chunka!?! Good thing too because I can already tell that Leah is going to give Jace a run for his money in the wild child department.
