Thanksgiving at Grandma & Grandpa's

We decided that since this was likely to be our last opportunity to go visit Grandma & Grandpa in Arizona for a while (due to Jeremy's deployment) that we would be brave and drive the 10+ hours with an 11 month old. I am happy to report that it was not NEARLY as bad as we anticipated. Jace is such a trooper when it comes to road trips. I think he handles them better than I do!
We had a great Thanksgiving day. Great Grandma Myrt joined us for the feast and festivities, which was a nice treat. Grandma Linda made a delicious turkey dinner that was enjoyed by all, some of us a little too much! Here's a few snapshots from the day...

Jace showing off his new and exciting ability to walk...

Daddy giving Mommy a heart attack and Jace loving every minute of it!!!

Grandma watching Mommy feed Jace his very first Thanksgiving Dinner. He apparently takes after his Great Grandaddy Russell, who loved cranberry sauce. He could not get enough of it! I mean there were tears when I finally had to cut him off.
I think he likes it...

More heart attacks for Mommy...

Bath Time!!! Who knew a Turkey Dinner could get so messy??

This kiddo LOVES to splash!!
And finally, I like to call this one Jace's Door Buster Face! WHO ON EARTH wakes up at 4am with this look on their face????
Yep Jace had his very first Day After Thanksgiving Sale experience and he was SOOO GOOD!! He was just as excited as Mommy was to get out early and save money!! Too bad Daddy didn't share our enthusiasm, though he too was quite the trooper!
We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, as we did. We have so much to be thankful for this year and we truly feel blessed beyond belief to have such amazing family and friends to share this wonderful life with!
